From one of our client's I learned the Chinese sign for “risk”. It is comprised of two marks – the first signifying “danger” and the second signifying “opportunity”. They State, great investors see both the danger and the opportunity. They see performance before the rest of the market. Investors in human capital are no different, they see over and under achievement before the job is offered, the free agent is signed, or the draft pick is made. Until one really knows the business logo and people, the true picture and understanding is not achieved.
